Among the most dynamic commissions under NEIRBC is the North Eastern Education Commission (NEEC), which serves as the strategic and pastoral arm for Catholic education across the region. The NEEC envisions education as an act of evangelization and empowerment, guided by the Gospel and the social teachings of the Church.
Together with its sister offices - North East Social Communications (NESCOM), North East Regional Youth Commission (NERYC), the Commission for Ecumenism, the Women's Commission, and the Assam Catholic Educational Trust (ACET) - the NEEC contributes to the Church's larger mission of fostering faith, learning, and service across the North East.

Through capacity-building programs, policy advocacy, and collaborative networks, NEEC empowers educational leaders to create transformative learning environments rooted in Gospel values and social justice.
